New Classes in the New Year


Dear Dancer,

I hope you've had a wonderful summer and are now ready to take up practice of this beautiful dance form once more. If  you are, lessons start in my new studio space in Hither Green.

It's a gorgeous mirrored space with sprung floor and loads of natural light. The studio is well served by public transport at Hither Green BR or with frequent buses from Lewisham.

This term we will explore a mixture of styles including Baladi, learning to improvise using natural forms as an inspiration. Very exciting stuff, especially if you've always loved the idea of dancing to your own tune.

Day: Monday nights
Time: 7pm to 9pm
£28 per 4 classes or £8 pay as you go
Venue: Space Engineering. 174 Hither Green Lane, Lewisham, SE13 6QB

11.30 - 12.20  Warm up for dancers - open to all
Warm up will work on Flamenco arm & basic footwork & some dance and
tambourine work
 
12.30 - 1.45  Darbuka - Middle Eastern Rhythms Workshop
In this workshop we will be learning rhythms and putting together a
drum composition. A great chance for dancers to drum and get inside the rhythms.
 
1.55 - 2.30
Dance & Drum Jam
A chance for dancers and drummers to work and play together
